Orthodox Tea
Pure Leaf. Classic Brew
Didwaniya Group manufactures and exports premium orthodox teas from the famed gardens of Assam and Darjeeling. Carefully plucked, traditionally processed, and rigorously quality-checked, our orthodox teas deliver true single-origin character — from Assam’s full-bodied malty cups to Darjeeling’s delicate, floral muscatel notes — for discerning buyers and global tea houses.
Orthodox tea refers to tea made by traditional, low-speed processing methods that preserve the integrity of the whole leaf and its natural aromas. At Didwaniya Group we follow time-honoured steps — withering, hand-rolling or gentle machine-rolling, controlled oxidation, and careful drying — to produce teas that retain complex flavour, bright liquor, and fragrant aroma. Our orthodox range showcases the regional personality of each origin: Assam teas with robust body and malty depth, and Darjeeling teas with lightness, floral lift, and muscatel nuance.
Assam and Darjeeling orthodox teas are prized by specialty buyers, premium blending houses, and gourmet retailers. We source from trusted gardens, applying hygienic handling and graded packing to ensure consistent cup quality and traceability. Whether for single-origin retail, boutique tea blends, or high-end hospitality, Didwaniya Group’s orthodox teas offer a refined sensory experience rooted in provenance and craftsmanship.

Orthodox teas are highly versatile — ideal for straight black brews, connoisseur tastings, and luxury tea service. Assam orthodox works beautifully as a strong breakfast or chai base and in milk-forward preparations; Darjeeling orthodox is perfect for delicate hot infusions, iced teas, and single-origin retail packaging. They are used by cafés, hotels, tea blenders, and exporters who demand clarity of origin, superior leaf quality, and consistent cup profile.
