Health & Wellness Initiatives

Caring for Communities, Building Healthier Futures

DevkiDwar Foundation is dedicated to bringing quality healthcare to those who need it most. From free medical camps and health check-ups to supporting hospitals and critical care, we work to make healthcare accessible and affordable. Our initiatives also promote preventive care, mental health awareness, and holistic well-being. Guided by compassion, we strive to build healthier, stronger communities for a better tomorrow.

“A healthy community is a powerful community. Together, let’s build a nation where no one is left behind in care, dignity, or awareness.”

At the DevkiDwar Foundation, we believe that health is not a privilege—it is a right. Good health is the foundation of human dignity, productivity, and resilience. As part of our commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), especially Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, our health initiatives focus on the most pressing community health concerns: access, awareness, dignity, and prevention.

Whether it’s ensuring menstrual hygiene for young girls, promoting general sanitation, or raising awareness around mental and physical well-being—our health programs are designed to reach the unreached, educate the underserved, and empower the overlooked.

Our Focus Areas

Menstrual Health & Hygiene

One of our flagship campaigns addresses the critical issue of menstrual health management—a topic often shrouded in silence and stigma. Through school visits, awareness workshops, and sanitary product distribution drives, we aim to:

  • Break taboos surrounding menstruation

  • Educate girls and communities on safe, hygienic practices

  • Provide access to affordable and eco-friendly sanitary products

  • Promote body positivity and reproductive health education

We believe that no girl should have to skip school, suffer in silence, or feel ashamed of her body.

Community Hygiene & Sanitation Awareness

Basic hygiene practices can save lives. Our general hygiene campaigns are focused on:

  • Handwashing education in schools and slums

  • Distribution of hygiene kits (soaps, sanitizers, toothbrushes)

  • Clean drinking water awareness

  • Collaborations for building clean public toilets and handwashing stations

  • Street plays, posters, and door-to-door outreach programs in rural belts

These efforts align with UNSDG Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, promoting preventive health from the grassroots level.

Preventive Healthcare & Health Camps

Access to early detection and diagnosis can prevent many chronic diseases. We organize free health camps, in partnership with local healthcare providers and NGOs, offering:

  • Basic health checkups (BP, sugar, BMI)

  • Eye and dental screening

  • Nutritional counselling

  • Mental health awareness

  • Vaccination drives and health cards

These camps especially target women, children, and senior citizens in underserved rural and urban communities.

Mental Health & Well-being

Mental wellness is just as important as physical health. Our mental health advocacy includes:

  • Youth-focused stress and anxiety management workshops

  • School sessions on emotional intelligence and digital well-being

  • Counselling partnerships with licensed professionals

  • Suicide prevention awareness and community support circles

We aim to remove the stigma around mental illness and make mental health care accessible and empathetic.

Our Impact Goals

  • Reach 100,000 girls with menstrual health awareness by 2027

  • Launch hygiene education programs in 250+ schools and Anganwadis

  • Host quarterly health camps in underdeveloped districts

  • Distribute 1 lakh+ hygiene kits in tribal and rural areas

  • Integrate tele-health support for mental health consultations
