Saffron

Golden Threads. Exquisite Aroma

Didwaniya Group offers premium-grade saffron, hand-harvested and carefully packed to preserve its vibrant color, distinct aroma, and rich flavor. Sourced from trusted farms in Kashmir and other renowned regions, our saffron meets the highest global standards for culinary, cosmetic, and wellness applications.

Saffron is the world’s most precious and luxurious spice, derived from the stigmas of the Crocus sativus flower. Each delicate flower contains only three crimson-red stigmas, which are carefully hand-harvested and dried, resulting in fine saffron threads. It takes nearly 150,000 flowers to produce just 1 kilogram of saffron, making it one of the most labor-intensive and valuable spices globally.

Saffron is primarily cultivated in Iran, India (notably Kashmir), Spain, Afghanistan, and Greece. Among these, Kashmiri saffron is particularly esteemed for its deep color, strong aroma, and high crocin content, making it a preferred choice for gourmet and medicinal use. India is among the top exporters of high-quality saffron, recognized globally for its purity and potency.
