Sweet Aroma. Digestive Delight

Didwaniya Group exports top-grade fennel seeds known for their sweet, refreshing flavor and high essential oil content. Carefully sourced and hygienically processed, our fennel seeds are widely used in culinary, medicinal, and confectionery applications by global buyers seeking purity and consistency.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is an aromatic and flavorful spice derived from the dried seeds of the fennel plant, a perennial herb belonging to the carrot family (Apiaceae). The seeds are small, oval, and slightly curved, typically pale green to yellowish-brown in color. They emit a sweet, licorice-like aroma and have a mildly sweet, warm flavor with hints of anise. Rich in essential oil—particularly anethole—fennel is known not only for its culinary use but also for its therapeutic and digestive properties.

Fennel is native to the Mediterranean region but is now widely cultivated across India, Egypt, China, and the Middle East. India is the largest producer and exporter of fennel seeds, especially from the states of Gujarat and Rajasthan, where large-scale cultivation ensures high-quality, oil-rich varieties suited for both culinary and medicinal purposes.
