Gypsum

Natural Strength. Industrial Purity

Didwaniya Group exports premium-grade gypsum, carefully sourced from trusted mines and processed to meet global standards for construction, agricultural and industrial applications. Our gypsum is supplied in multiple grades — from fine powder to lump material — ensuring consistency, low impurities and dependable performance for manufacturers and traders worldwide

Gypsum (CaSO₄·2H₂O) is a soft sulfate mineral commonly found in sedimentary rock formations. It occurs naturally as crystalline masses or compacted beds and is easy to grind into powder, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial uses. Gypsum’s low hardness and excellent binding properties make it a preferred raw material in construction products such as plasters, drywall (gypsum board), and cement additives.

India and surrounding regions host extensive gypsum deposits, and Didwaniya Group works directly with established mine operators and beneficiation facilities to secure material that meets strict quality controls. Our supply chain emphasizes traceable sourcing, careful crushing/grading, and moisture-controlled packing so customers receive material tailored to their process specifications — whether for agricultural soil amendment, plaster manufacture, or industrial chemicals.

Moisture content, typical: ≤ 1.0–2.0% (depending on grade and drying)

Particle size: Supplied as fine powder (e.g., passing 200 mesh), medium grind, or lump — custom sizing on request

Solubility: Slightly soluble in water; stable and non-hygroscopic when properly stored

Application

Gypsum’s versatility spans construction, agriculture and industry. In construction it is used for plaster, ceiling boards, and as a setting regulator in cement. Agriculturally, gypsum improves soil structure, supplies calcium and sulfur, and aids reclamation of sodic soils. Industrial applications include use as a filler or extender in paints and plastics, a binder in ceramics and moulding processes, and as a feedstock in certain chemical processes. Didwaniya Group supplies grades optimized for each end-use, with technical support to help buyers select the right specification.

Storage Condition

Store in dry, clean, and well-ventilated warehouses protected from direct moisture and contaminants. Keep gypsum off the ground on pallets, in sealed bags or bulk liners if possible. Recommended relative humidity ≤ 65% and temperature not exceeding 30°C to prevent caking and quality degradation. Protect from prolonged exposure to water and high humidity.
