Sunflower Seeds
Sunlit Goodness. High Oil Yield
Didwaniya Group supplies premium sunflower seeds sourced from India's best growing regions and complemented by carefully selected imports from Russia and Ukraine. Our seeds are cleaned, graded, and processed to ensure consistent oil content, freshness, and suitability for culinary, oil-extraction, and industrial uses.
Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seeds are the nutrient-dense kernels harvested from the flowering sunflower head. Available in both confectionery (snacking) and oilseed varieties, these seeds are valued for their mild, nutty flavor and high oil content. Didwaniya Group sources seeds from reputable growers across India and augments supply with imports from Russia and Ukraine to offer steady volumes, reliable quality, and a range of grades to suit processors, packers, and food manufacturers.
Our supply chain emphasizes hygienic handling: post-harvest drying to optimal moisture levels, thorough cleaning, and grading to remove foreign matter and broken seeds. Whether you require hulled seeds for snacks and bakery use or whole seeds for pressing and oil production, we offer consistent lots with traceable origin and quality checks to meet buyer specifications.

Application
Sunflower seeds are highly versatile — used as a healthy snack (raw, roasted, salted), as an ingredient in bakery products, cereals and granola, and as a topping for salads. The oilseed varieties are predominantly used for cold-pressing and solvent extraction to produce sunflower oil for cooking and industrial uses (cosmetics, soaps). Other applications include bird feed, livestock rations, and processed ingredients (sunflower meal) for animal feed and protein formulations.
Storage Condition
Store in dry, clean, well-ventilated warehouses protected from sunlight, pests and strong odors. Maintain relative humidity below 65% and temperature at or below 15°C where possible to minimize rancidity. Keep seeds in food-grade, moisture-proof sacks or bulk containers; avoid exposure to heat and repeated temperature fluctuations. For long-term storage, ensure moisture is reduced to recommended levels (≤7%) and rotate stock using FIFO.
