Mustard seeds (Brassica juncea, Brassica nigra, and Brassica alba) are tiny, round seeds harvested from mustard plants belonging to the Brassicaceae family. They range in color from pale yellow and light brown to deep black, each variety offering distinct flavors—mild and tangy for yellow, earthy and sharp for brown, and intense pungency for black. Mustard seeds are valued for their volatile oils, particularly allyl isothiocyanate, which gives them their signature heat and aroma. They are also packed with nutrients, including omega-3 fatty acids, selenium, magnesium, and dietary fiber.

India is one of the largest producers and exporters of mustard seeds, with major cultivation in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. These regions’ favorable climate and fertile soils ensure seeds with high oil content, rich flavor, and excellent shelf life. Didwaniya Group sources mustard seeds from trusted farmers, ensuring each batch is cleaned, graded, and processed under strict hygiene standards for global export.

Globally, mustard seeds are used in marinades, salad dressings, mustard sauces, and oil extraction.
